A.L.S. 8vo. 1 page, New York, March 22, 1892, written in metre, with the inclusions of a small original pen and ink drawing of his Brownie character, in full: "Some are coming, Some are going - Some declining, Others growing. That's the hurley-burley way - All around us night and day. But through all the years you'll see - still may blessings flow for thee." Professionally laid into a 8" x 10" page with opening and most likely as part of an extra-illuminated volume. Excellent condition.<br/> <br/> Canadian writer and illustrator best known for his series of books and comic strips featuring The Brownies.<br/> <br/>
