Johnson (1935-1998) was a poet who lived in San Francisco for 25 years, active in the gay community, co-founder of the Rainbow Motorcycle Club which was formed in the No Name Bar on Folsom St. which he managed. 'The Book of the Green Man' was published posthumously in 2015. First edition thus. A near fine copy in printed wrappers (paperback), stapled. Slight tanning to cover edges.
