Sobre este artículo
The Detective Book Club produced volumes of three crime novels from 1942 to 1999. Originally monthly, near the end they dwindled down to just a few per year. Many famous detective and crime novelists had their early works featured in DBC editions. Often, books were published in DBC editions before, or at the same time as they were published in mass market form.
A little about our authors:
Jon Cleary: Australian Cleary wrote 50 mystery novels over a 61 year span. Twenty of those novels are in the Detective Scobie Malone series. Cleary passed away in 2010. Autumn Maze is the eleventh Scobie Malone novel.
Margaret Yorke: Yorke wrote 43 mystery novels, published between 1957 and 2001. These included the five novel Patrick Grant series. Yorke died in 2012. Almost the Truth is one of her many stand alone novels.
M. C. Beaton: One of seven pen names used by Marion Chesney. Under this name, she released her two longest mystery series, both containing 34 books. These were the well known Hamish Macbeth series and the even more well known Agatha Raisin series. Along with these 68 books, Chesney, under one name or another, has published over 160 additional titles. This is the fourth Agatha Raisin novel.

Opened August 1st of 2022, Turtleman Used Books in Olympia, WA. Address is 108 22nd Ave SW, Olympia, WA 98501. Suite #4. This is a small shop, so some books may only be displayed online, others only displayed in the store. Come on by if you are in town. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Many of my books are oversized. Rather than ask for shipping adjustments at the time of purchase, the list price for heavier books includes the excess shipping cost. All of my photographs are of the actual product, taken by my trusty little Kindle Fire. Currently we have about 2900 books offered for sale online, with more being added daily. Check back frequently to see what's new. -----
