Collins, London, 1928. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Derrick, Thomas (1885-1954). 150 g; 63 pages with 26 pages of verse and 26 pages of illustrations. Remnants of original bookseller's sticker on front paste down along with bookseller's sticker at the lower right-hand corner of the same. There is some evidence of pencil prices having been rubbed out at the top right of the front free end page, light foxing to the 1st 10 or so pages, and to the top and front edges of the text block. The boards are covered with a floral motif and backed with a plan ecru without titling. There is pasted to the upper right-hand corner of the front board the title and author's name. The top centimetre of the front panel has faded slightly from exposure to light, and there's rubbing at each of the 4 external corners. ". Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
