Descripción:
New York: Theo. Audel & Company, 1907. Octavo. Sixth edition, revised and enlarged. 598 pages, illustrated, index. In the previous edition issued in 1903, there were some omissions and a few errors along with the note by the author that the motor vehicle has passed out of the experimental stage and become a practical reality. He gives credit to Daimler, Benz and others who made advances to make the car increasingly accessible. The world now has the professional chauffer as well as the owner-driver. He opens with a history of early coaches. The plates were separately printed on yellow paper. Bound in red cloth stamped in blind depicting a car, spine lettering black and gilt, wear to one corner some fading to spine along with finger soiling to cloth, previous owner's bookplate. A very good copy.
