A handsome First Edition first printing inscribed by Autry on the front free endpaper: "To "Evit & Buzzy" Two of my favorite people. This is the story of my life---Well, I might have left a little of it---Anyways hope its good reading. All my love & best wishes always. Gene Autry 9-25-78." Emil "Buzzy" Bavasi was general manager of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers from 1951-1968. Jacket lightly worn in an archival dustjacket; foxing to edges of text block. Overall a nice copy.
