Phantom Bookshop 201 A restored facsimile dust jacket for the 1937 1st edition for "BACK TO THE STONE AGE" The jacket is a facsimile of the FIRSTedition published by Burroughs, Inc. The jacket was restored by artist John Anthony Miller and archival ink and special paper were used. Jacket comes trimmed and enclosed in a mylar jacket protector, ready to put on the book.Please see the photograph. As in all our facsimile dust jackets, the verso of the jacket has an affixed label, stating such, signed by the artist-restorer John Anthony Miller..

Phantom Bookshop was established in 1993 by bookman and artist John Anthony Miller and located there for eight years in Downtown Ventura at 451 E. Main St in Ventura, California. Many famous authors and celebrities signed there and was a top favorite bookshop of Ray Bradbury's. We specialize used and rare books, unusual material and signed books with an emphasis on the unique, sci fi and fantasy, first editions, scientific and medical. We also have a nice selection of high quality facsimile dust jackets done etching and engraving artist John Anthony Miller (all jackets are marked tastefully that they are facsimile jackets, printed on high quality non acidic paper using the finest inks that will last a lifetime with care). Phantom Bookshop relocated in 2000 as an internet business.
