The author was a staff writer for the Festival at the time, and explains many aspects of the background work put into this successful season, when Coriolanus, Henry VIII, and Love's Labour's Lost were produced. The star of the season was award winning actor Paul Scofield. The book includes 6 double sided black and white photographic plates. Flat signed by the author on the title page. .
