Sobre este artículo

London: Longmans, Green & Co, 1894. First edition. Near fine.. First printing this uncommon Lang title, a collection of poetry first published in book form here, beginning with "A Scot to Jeanne D'Arc." While Andrew Lang is now considered the fairy tale taste-maker of late 19th and early 20th century British nurseries, he also produced many original compositions; indeed, before the success of his color fairy books, Lang was primarily known as a poet. 6.75'' x 4.5''. Original green gilt cloth. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Frontispiece by H.J. Ford. Errata slip tipped in at page one. 118 pages. Offsetting to endpapers, touch of rubbing to spine ends. Else clean and fresh.
