Pictorial cloth and pictorial dust jacket. 286pp. Dust jacket, coloured frontispiece and 4 b/w plates painted by Alfred Sindall. Adventure story for boys. Rubbed front cover image; spine is bright; browned endpapers, school prize label inside front, binding sound, pages clean, edges browned/dusted. Jacket artwork can still be appreciated -most of front present, with 1-2cm losses and creases round top and lower front edges, continuing round spine and back; spine is dulled, age grime to back. A Good+ copy in poor dust jacket.
