Rare first ed "Nineteen hundred and eight;" 47 opened pages,, clean and unmarked within but there is a gift inscription in red ink on front end page; paper though strong and of fine quality is quite foxed with odd discolorations that do NOT have the odor of mold; binding firm; gray boards with silver gilt lettering and stamped thistle ornamentation are smudged with small stains; corners are rubbed and the crown and foot of spine have some rubbing as well.
