First Edition stated, quality University of Oklahoma Press publication, The Life and Personal Writings of Eugene Manlove Rhodes, detailed look at this important western writer from the 1920's and 30's. Experiencedt he frontier life and wrote with a poet's soul and scholar's passion. Book is near Fine, very clean olive cloth, a touch of wear to head and heel of spine tight and square with sharp corners. No previous owner bookplate or writing, text in never read condition. Jacket is Very Good Plus, some toning and light edge wear, shows nicely in a new mylar sleeve. A very clean and most presentable First edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
