Short 8vo, 115pp, original decorated cloth covered boards with an illustration of a little girl and five kittens; five kittens on the spine of the book also, b&w decorated half-title page, color frontis, nicley (3 color) decorated title page using cats across the top border, on each side of the authors name, and at the bottom border Illustrated throughout the text with drawings in b&w and a few in color -- Some writing in pencil on the front endpaper by a former owner Bottom corners lightly bumped; else a extremely clean and tight copy with a brown (dust soiled) jacket which has a b&w drawing of a little girl sitting down playing with kittens The dust jacket is lightly rubbed around the extremities and has one closed rough tear at the bottom front -- Overall a very good+ copy in a good (scarce) dust jacket (XBG12-601-BA) Quantity Available: 1 Category: Juvenile; Pictures of this item not already displayed here available upon request Inventory No: 006311.
