Sobre este artículo
London: Barber, 1850. Original Cloth. Fair. Barber's Picturesque Illustrations of the Isle of Wight Dedicated to Her Most Gracious majesty The Queen. The first illustration is of Queen Victoria and the introduction mentions that Queen Victoria has a summer residence on the Isle of Wight. I do not see a publication date, but I assume that it was written between 1841 and 1851 because the population totals of the Island reference the census of 1831 and 1841. The book measures 5 3/4 x 8 1/2 with gilt edges. There are 106 numbered pages and many full page illustrations and two fold out maps. The flaws I see are top and bottom of spine is cracked and the spine has faded considerably. The front and back hinges are cracked and I found two loose pages. There are two labels pasted on inside front cover. There is foxing and spotting on some pages, especially the illustration pages.
