Sobre este artículo
Konemann, 1998. hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 11x1x13. 1998 Konemann (Cologne, Germany), 11 x 12 1/2 inches tall red cloth hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, yellow lettering to front cover and spine, pale grey endpapers, copiously illustrated with mostly full color photographs and drawings, 503 pp. Very slight rubbing to covers. Otherwise, apart from a couple of very slight instances of marginal soiling, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a like dust jacket which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. Note that this is a heavy and oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~RCL~ [9.0P] The visual arts of the baroque - above all its architecture - were instruments in a production on the world's great stage. The playâs first act, taking place around 1600, was set in Rome, and it was from here that this style spread across the rest Europe. This volume discusses baroque painting of the seventeenth century and pursues the development of architecture and sculpture into the late baroque and the rococo eras, without, however, drawing precise boundaries between them.
