Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1930. Hardcover. Very Good. First American edition. Blue cloth with printed paper label. Spine a little toned, unsigned note about the copyright in the hand of Barrett H. Clark: "Copyright Sept 5 1930 asunpublished script (Rubin on phone to BC[?]. 9/30/46." Additionally there are some pencil corrections in his hand apparently intended to bring copyright in alignment with the script. Barrett H. Clark was an exceptionally important figure in modern American drama, aside from authoring many books, he served as the longtime literary editor for the publisher Samuel French.
