Storytelling is used to explain how people paid for things and how coins and other financial instruments came to be and how they work. 8vo size softcover has been rebound with black cloth hardcover with white titles on cover and spine while retaining the original color illustrated soft covers; 36 pages with black and white and color illustrations and decorations throughout. Color illustrated inside covers are the equivalent of endpapers. Some black and white photographs. Ex-library with typical treatments, spine and corners are worn and frayed. Pages have handling wear and light soil in the margins. Page 23 has a pencilled name in top margin and small spot in bottom margin. Pages 29 and 32 have stray pencil marks; we noted one creased page corner and the 'y' in the word money on the front cover has been filled in with blue ink. . Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Berger, Merritt. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
