Robust, professional packaging and tracking provided for all parcels. 52 pages. Eleven cars, each with a driver and co-driver, set off on August 28th,1982. The rules of the rally were that the car must be over 15 years old, no more than $750 [excluding safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and safety belts, could be spent on changes to the vehicle, and there would be a 1 day break at Birdsville to carry out repairs. There were also two back-up vehicles. All thirteen vehicles eventually arrived in Burketown on 31st August and 1st September. . 1st Edition. Softcover.
