A short work from the author of "Bridehead Revisited"and "A Handful of Dust." Originally published in the Esquire Magazine and first published here in book form this story features Waugh's protagonist from his novel "Black Mischief." Features a color frontispiece by Kathleen Hale. A fine copy in blue cloth boards in a near fine acetate dust jacket that his lightly rubbed and with a tiny chip to the top fornt corner and a small tear to the top rear corner. Signed by Waugh on the limitation page. A nicely printed book.
