London: Henry & Co , 1891. Noted Jewish humourist known as Dickens' of the Ghetto who initiated and edited Ariel, The London Puck, and did miscellaneous work for the London press. This is his first solo collection followed by the Old Maids' Club a year later. CONDITION Blue illustrated cloth has moderate wear to spine ends and tips, ppvi 338 + publishers list to rear. Copy is mostly clean internally with light edge spotting, odd folded cnr to pages, nice illus through out, a little shaken.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
