Part of his 'The Starbuck Chonicles' series, this novel makes a departure from Cornwell's more common context and characters (the Napoleonic Wars and Sharpe, respectively) and approach the American Civil War through the character of Nathaniel Starbuck. In cloth binding with gilt detailing with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally very smart, with some very light markings to boards and wear to extremities. The dustwrapper also has some rubbing to the backstrip. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are bright and clean throughout. Very Good Indeed
