[2nd ed.] 2nd printing (June 1909). 307pp. Original red cloth with gilt titles and decoration to cover and spine, ornate gilt and colour decorative leather panels mounted to front cover and spine, top edge gilt. GOOD copy, binding square but loosening a little, cloth covers a little rubbed all over, a few small stains, corners bumped and worn, gilt reasonably bright, some wear to leather spine panel, light foxing to page edge, ink inscription on ffep dated 1910, hand-stain to title page, otherwise internally very good, tissue-guard at frontis, all plates present, no dust jacket . Good. Hardcover. 2nd Edition. 1909.
