SIGNED by the author on the title page and additionally INSCIRBED to fellow poet Jorie Graham: "To Jorie--/'I do not understand, but I believe'/and all the way/to everlasting,/love always,/Don/January 9, 1995." Revell and Graham were co-editors at the COLORADO REVIEW. Graham has referred to Revell as the poet of my generation I most admire (HARVARD CRIMSON, 17 October 2003).
