London: Putnam, 1927. brown cloth, generally clean sound copy apart from a couple of browned areas, where a theatre programme and a newspaper cutting were enclosed in the book. Signed on endpaper "Geraldine FitzGerald, March 1927, Gaiety Theatre Dublin 1st &5th March 1927". Enclosed is the Gaiety Theatre programme for the play. It's just speculation on my part, but I wonder if this stage-struck girl is the Dublin-born Geraldine FitzGerald who went on to become a Hollywood star. Her signature does not match the mature woman's signature available online, but she would have been a teenage schoolgirl in 1927. The dates she notes she attended the play had matinee performances. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Second Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
