It is written from Harley Street and the subjects are therefore the great and good of the era. Small beer it is, but like much small beer harmless and refreshing if taken in judicious quantity. The language is fairly Victorian and non-confrontational but for an insight into medical matters in the first quarter of the 20th century it is a valuable resource.* A NEAR GD+ copy with some age & wear but no dust jacket.*
