Printed at Compton Press, Compton Chamberlayne, Salisbury, Wiltshire. Hardback. 103pp. Approx. 305mm x 200mm. Half bound in blue Morocco over mustard yellow cloth. Marbled endpapers. Original slipcase (also numbered 36). An eclectic collection of aphorisms, snatches of poetry and sayings etc all nicely illustrated. A fascinating and creative piece of work redolent of its time. Near fine condition. A little light soiling to the boards and spine slightly discoloured. Internally very clean and bright. Slipcase very good. Some discolouration where it has been exposed to the sun and a little superficial scuffing.
