This work by the herpetologist and ichthyologist Maximilian Carl Anton, "Max", Fürbringer (1846-1920) deals mainly with the phylogent and systematics of the higher taxa based upon the author's vast and detailed anatomical researches. Published in the Jenaischen Zeitschrift für Naturwissenschaften 34, but this is the offprint with both the journal's pagination and its own page numbers. Rare. A very good, clean copy.
