Reprint; Cr. 8vo; pp. [iii], 6, (1); printed on the recto only, illustrated wrapper, 7 coloured illustrations in text, rebound into modern black cloth, title lettered in gilt on spine, original illustrated wrappers bound in, fine copy. 'Bell-birds' was published in leaves from Australian Forests by Henry Kendall in 1869. This illustrated edition first published by Angus & Robertson Publishers in 1982, this current copy being a 1986 reprint of that illustrated edition.
