Sobre este artículo
Philadelphia: Porter & Coates, 1881. Lovely edition of this manic poem that descends from delight at the sound of bells into fear and horror. Illustrated with engravings throughout. Cream color beveled hardcover lettered and pictorially decorated in gilt, silver gilt and brown, gilt edges, off white cloth spine, all edges gilt, about 7.75 inches tall. Some shelfwear, bumps to the upper and lower edges of the covers, expected shelf soil for this color binding, top of front hinge and bottom of rear hinge internally neatly reglued and secure, sound text block, trace of old glue residue at the far inner margin before the engraved title page (possibly a tissue there at one point), very clean pages, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
