The gilt on the spine has noticeable losses, but still attractive. The pages and endpages are clean, with no markings or folds, and mild toning to the endpages. There is no dustjacket present. There is a gift inscription and bookplate of recipient dated 1941 on the inner board. Not ex-lib. No remainder mark. Edition information is as follows: Published August 26, 1940 First And Second Printings Before Publication.
