[London : George Virtue, 1836]. A pleasant antique print - Bonawe, Loch Etive - the mountains and Taynuilt beyond - a wagon laden with logs and a woman with a spinning-wheel outside her cottage in the foreground. Engraved by Henry Griffiths (fl.1835-1849) from an original study by the gifted Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series "Scotland Illustrated" (London : 1835-1838). Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 132 x 169mm (approx. 5-1/4" x 6-5/8"). A few faint marks to outer blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
