Sinopsis
A Bend in the Road (2001) is the fifth novel by the American author Nicholas Sparks, who also wrote the novels The Notebook (1996), A Walk to Remember (1999), and Nights in Rodanth (2002). Nicholas Sparks wrote A Bend in the Road after the passing of his sister, Danielle Sparks Lewis, who died of cancer in 2000. The main character of the novel, Miles Ryan, is a widower with a young son. He is also a deputy, intent on finding the driver who killed his wife Missy in a hit-and-run. When he meets Sarah Andrews, his son’s second-grade teacher who moved to their small town after a painful divorce, joy seems to be returning to his life. Until a shocking secret is revealed that tests their love.
