Bourne End, United Kingdom: Etna Publishing, 1975 Collectible. Some shelf and age wear to the card wrapper - wrapper edges light rubbing with creases around edge and spine - internally the pages are in very good condition - clean pages with no internal markings.
First edition, no date on the front endpaper, but the drawings are dated 1975, unpaginated. The twelve b/w line drawings by Michael Bayley are secured in a paperback black card wrapper with cream writing - wrapper designed by David Howden. The drawings are of old surviving buildings in the Thames valley, with his handwritten captions, reproduced one per page. Contents: Foreword with a hand drawn map; The Old Manor House Mapledurham; Henley Church and the Red Lion; The Dog and Badger, Medmenham; The Guildhall and Red Lion, High Wycombe; Hurley Church; Marlow Bridge and Church; Cookham High Street; a riverside house, Maidenhead; Jesus Hospital, Bray; Oakley Court; The Cockpit, Eton; Church Street, Windsor.
