Beautifully illustrated stories from the old Testament and New Testament. Many Full-Page Colour Plates, also some B&W Full-Page ilustrations of the children learning the Bible. Text takes the charming form of Mummy telling the Bible stories to Beryl, Derek and Pauline. Blue cloth spine. White and red scene from the Holy Land on front with a large Colour tipped in illustration of Jesus, Mary and Joseph returning from Egypt. Some edge wear, chips to cover paper at fore corners and 2 small closed tears at top of spine and a small strip missing from bottom of spine (1/4" wide).Some chipping to pictur on front (see photo). Presentation label on ffep dated 1962. No other inscriptions. Pages and Plates in very good, clean condition.
