Overall condition is Near Fine for book and Very Good for dust jacket. This book is about the southern overland routes to California from the diaries and journals of the participants during 1849 to 1850. The words of Manly, Nusbaumer, Haynes, Young, the Jayhawkers and others have been retold of the trials and hardships of the journeys through Nevada to Death Valley. This new work has corrected previous books and filled in the gaps.
