Copies have been observed with and without paper labels affixed to the front cover, these have the title labels. (31188). Large octavo, two volumes: pp. [1-2] [1] 2-57 [58: blank]; [1-2] [1] 2-50, offset from typewritten copy, plain wrappers. Limited to 300 copies. Both volumes published without authorization and anonymously circa 1955 by Lloyd A. Eshbach. "Beyond Thirty" was first published in ALL AROUND MAGAZINE, February 1916 and "The Man-Eater" was first published as a serial in a New York city newspaper, THE EVENING WORLD, November 15-20, 1915. This "book" version of "Beyond Thirty" was preceded by an earlier anonymously produced 102-page hectographed booklet dated February 1953. Heins, p. 187.
