Random House, 1958 Book. Illus. by Marion Holland. Good. Hardcover. The inner pages of this classic children's book are in VG+ condition, and amazing enough, the binding is in tact. Red/Orange boards. The hard cover however is only in good condition. The cover to the spine is stripped. The rest of the cover is in tact and has general shelf wear, corners and edges bumped - great condition for a well loved and read 60 year old children's book! Po's name, signed by an adult in pen "Craig Belcher" . No other marks, stains, book is clean and tight! "But here came a man and he shook out the can! He shook all the things from the can in a sack. He took all the things in a pack on his back . "Hey! you with the sack! You bring back my string!" HE did NOT bring it back. He did not say a thing. Away went the man. Away went the truck. And away I went! And then - what luck! BUMPETY-BUMP! The truck dumped with a thump. And there I was at the good 'ol dump! The young Dennis the Menace look alike finds all kinds of string at the dump and makes a BIG ball of string!.
