Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs, and occasional colour images. Number 1026 of 1750 copies SIGNED by Tony Sheridan, Günter Zint, Ulf Krüger to limitation page. Also with an original West German Gingerbread Seal, tipped onto the face page, and four sheets of commemorative stamps. Master printed in Italy onto Bodonia art paper. Publisher's black quarter morocco, with titles stamped in blind, and colour-printed cloth over boards, and housed in a silk-screened, clear acrylic slip-case. A fine, as-new copy, still in the original card mailer. 'A profound pictorial document of that bond between The Beatles and their 'guardian' country: from their first trip to Hamburg in 1960 to a national tour and John's film work in 1966. Containing rare and unseen photographs of The Beatles accompanied by a full length commentary, Astrid Kirchherr and photographer Günter Zint also add their recollections to the book. Among these gems, all superbly reproduced, are the classic Top Ten Club photographs by Peter Brüchmann and the unseen Günter Zint Bravo-Blitztournee images. [Also] includes a special chapter by Tony Sheridan, singer on 'My Bonnie', The Beatles' first record. He talks frankly - and for the first time - at length of The Beatles and the early days of their career.'.
