This is an ORIGINAL one-sheet movie poster for the 1933 film "THE BIG CHANCE" starring Mickey Rooney, John Darrow, Merna Kennedy, Natalie Moorhead and J. Carrol Naish. Linen-backed for preservation and ease of handling. 27" x 41". Artwork by "Hap" Hadley, an important illustrator and one of the few who was allowed to sign his movie poster work. (Here, signed in the print). In this film, a boxer agrees with gangsters to throw an important fight, but is dissuaded by his girlfriend and a young fan (Rooney). Mickey Rooney was to go on to star in very successful MGM movies.This film can presently be seen on Amazon Prime. A scarce poster. Near Fine. Shipped rolled.
