Light brown hardcover pink lettering on spine and cover illustration of bicylist repairing a flat tire, Viking Press, map endpapers, stated "First Published by the Viking Press in October 1955" on copyright page; jacket not price clipped (3.00). Cover as new but worn through a tiny bit on lower outer corners, slight loss of color on other tips; page edges not quite pristine, name in green ink inside the front cover, otherwise interior is like new, binding tight and square,.
