Minimal foxing and tanning to page edges. Small pen mark to front paste down. Mild wear to spine, board edges and corners, with small splits (approx. 5mm) to spine ends. Minor scuffing and marking to boards.

A very clean bright tight near fine copy - no inscriptions in like D/W which is just a touch sunned to the spine and with just a touch of rubbing to the extremities. Biggles # 75. A former child owner's neat name and address in green biro to the front free end-paper otherwise a bright and clean near fine copy. The dustwrapper is priced 106 net to the inside flap (as called for and is in VG+/ near-fine condition. It is complete/intact without any fading to the red spine but has some rubbing to the top of the spine and front flap hinge. The corners also lightly rubbed but without any loss. A nice copy. Publisher's black cloth, gilt titles to spine, dust-jacket designed by Leslie Stead with printed price of 10/6 net. Tiny pen mark to top edge. Dust-jacket lightly handled to extremities, but completely bright and unfaded. Fine. The title refers to a particularly beautiful pearl, "the Blue Moon of Asia", kept in the collection of Lin Seng who is trying to transport his collection from Malaysia to London. Various villains attempt to steal the pearls, but Biggles and Algy triumph, naturally.
