Original beige cloth on boards with blue lettering. Venture Books for Boys. Covers hand-soiled. It looks as if liquid (coffee?) was spilled when the owner was reading page 142 - several spots on pgs. 142 and 143 - spots to edges of text block and back cover from that point forward. A former acquaintance, Li Chi, is instrumental in securing a large quantity of rubber which will be important to the British war effort. Of course, "Biggles Delivers the Goods." Scarce Canadian edition. 236 pp. .
