Pp. 256, coloured frontispiece, glossary of R.F.C. terms and expressions used; cr. 8vo; pictorial blue cloth, lettered and decorated in black, lightly soiled and rubbed; top edges blue (faded); lacking the dust wrapper; bookseller's sticker at foot of upper pastedown, inked gift inscription (dated 1938) on upper free endpaper, upper hinge cracking, scattered light foxing and occasional slight soiling; Oxford University Press/ Humphrey Milford, London, 1933[1937?]. Blue Pyramid reprint. *First published in 1935. The so-called Pyramid editions (featuring a design of a plane flying over palm trees and pyramids on the upper board) were printed using the plates of the first editions, and retained the original date of publication.
