Leicester: Brockhampton Press, 1961. First edition, first printing. Published by the Brockhampton Press, Leicester, 1961. This is a very good (or better) copy. The dust wrapper, as ever, is nicely illustrated by Leslie Stead. It has general creasing throughout the edges and has been price clipped. The spine is slightly sunned. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are surprisingly clean but with some very slight fading. There is a previous owners inscription to the full title page, which is dated to the top right-hand corner Aug 1987 in black ink. Overall, this is a very good (or better) copy. Eddie Ross, the United States' member of the International Police Bureau asks Biggles for his help in tracking down a kidnapped boy called Carlo Salvatore, the son of multi-millionaire Rosario Salvatore...
