Family Bible for the family of Izak Stefanus Perold (27 Nov. 1852 - 31 Julie 1942) and his wife, Johanna Helena geb. Brink (18 Maart 1888 - 22 Maart 1933). Includes handwritten family details. Some are heartbreaking in their detail. The leather boards are venerable, aged, worn (they respond well to wax polish!). They are scuffed and a little marked. Otherwise characterful. The contents have evidence of use throughout. The pages have user creases and marks. They are benign, calm, clear, very confident and certain, benevolent, warm, assured. A kindly copy. fk.
