Beautiful catalog that was pub. for an exhibition that began in Germany and traveled to the US in 1999 of the brilliant work of the great outsider artist Bill Traylor. Includes many essays and many nice color repros. along with a portfolio of photographs that include some of Traylor at work on his drawings in the street along with everyday scenes of the deep south taken in the 1930's. Small numerical rubber stamp on the top corner of the title pg, otherwise a fine unread copy. laid in is a nice larg foldover brochure from the New York Folk Art Museum that was pub. for an exhibition of his work in 2013. Illustrated in color.
