Sobre este artículo
Cassell, London, 1961. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. Illustrator: C. H. Chapman. Red coloured boards with black coloured titles to the backstrip. The text is illustrated with black-and-white drawings by C. H. Chapman. Photographic dustwrapper with white colour titles to the front panel and backstrip. Billy Bunter, the laziest and fattest boy at Greyfriars School, does not want to go home where his parent expects him to work, nor does he want to go to his uncle to do the washing up for eight weeks, what he wants to do is to eat himself into oblivion. This appears to come true when Billy Butlin comes into his life and a wallet full of cash also appears in Billy's life. So off to Butlin holiday camp to feed his gargantuan appetite  at least for a few days. Softening to the head and to the heel of the backstrip and there is sunning , commensurate with loss of dustwrapper. Bumping to the book corners and heavy browning and foxing to the textblock edges with lighter browning to the pages. Offset tanning and a few marks to the endpapers. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the lower backstrip edge. There is a piece missing from the top right-hand corner of the backstrip. There is a few tears to the dustwrapper edges, with associated creasing. Rubbing and sunning it to the dustwrapper panels and browning and foxing to the verso. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], V - VI, 217, [1] pages,. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: C. H. Chapman.
