Tan boards with brown overlay on the spine with bright silver lettering on the spine. 137 pp 8vo. Billy, the Kid was supposedly shot dead by Pat Garrett in 1881 at Ft. Sumner, NM. In 1948, William Morrison uncovered evidence that William Henry (Brushy) Roberts was in fact Billy, the Kid. Morrison interviewed Roberts, his friends and acquaintances and survivors of the Lincoln County War and became convinced Roberts was the Kid. Now modern science and all its technology seems to validate Morrison's conclusions. A clean pristine copy.
