Attractive full morocco gilt binding by Frank Garrett, noted bookbinder associtated at the Turn of the Century with the Birmingham Municipal School of Art, regularly exhibiting at most of the Arts and Crafts Exhibitions of the period. Bound in full brown levant with rectilinear gilt ruling, gilt dots, leaves, and with similar but more dense patterning in gilt on spines. Gilt dentelles, marbled endsheets. Signed in gilt pallet on rear dentelles, "F. Garrett & Binders. Spines uniformly sunned, as commonly seen in this color levant.
