Sobre este artículo

Eton; London: Ingaton and Drake; Simpkin, Marshall, and Company, 1868. Hardcover. Very Good. First ornithological book with photographs - 4 handcolored albumen photos. Green cloth boards are lightly soiled. Some wrinkling to the boards, rubbing and scuffing to corners and ends of spine. Interior is unmarked with scattered foxing throughout, except for previous owners' names on half title page. Beautiful color to the photographs. Gilt title on spine and bird illustration on front cover and spine are clear and bright with light rubbing. Binding is tight and square, although the inside hinge is beginning to crack.
